We’re a Fresno crew, and most of us have been working on homes across the Central Valley for years before joining Lightwell. What unites us is pretty simple: we think a window job should be clean, quiet, and explained in plain English before a single tool comes off the truck. Keith Yamada, Owner, built the team around that idea. You won’t get a rotating cast of strangers. You’ll get the same faces from the first measurement to the final walkthrough, and they’ll treat your floors, your kids’ nap schedule, and your pets like they matter, because they do.

Our People
Keith Yamada, Owner
Keith has been part of the Cedarwell network since 2010, and he still shows up on job sites in Fresno, Clovis, and Madera when the schedule gets tight. He’s the one who insists on a written price before any work starts, every time, no exceptions. If you ask him why, he’ll tell you a simple truth from the trade: invoice surprises come from sloppy planning, not honest work. Keith’s background is in residential replacement, and he’s seen just about every way a Fresno summer can warp a cheap frame or cook a bad seal. He writes the way he talks, steady and specific, and he’d rather explain a potential problem before it happens than apologize after. Most homeowners who call with a tricky retrofit end up talking to him directly, and that’s on purpose.
Marcus D., Lead Technician
Marcus runs most of our full-frame replacements and door installs across Fresno metro. He’s been setting windows in the Central Valley for over a decade, and he’s the person you want when an older home in the Tower District has settled just enough that nothing is square anymore. Marcus is certified in lead-safe work practices, which matters on any pre-1978 house, and he knows the local stucco and lath profiles well enough to plan the flashing before the old window is even out. He keeps dog treats in the truck, always offers water to the homeowner’s dog before the homeowner’s teenager, and has a running rule that no radio plays before 9 a.m. on a residential street. Ask before we move anything is not a slogan to him. It’s how he’d want someone working in his own house.
Sofia R., Senior Installer
Sofia handles most of our vinyl and fiberglass window installations, and she’s the person who notices the small stuff other crews skip: a slightly bowed sill, a weep hole that’s painted over, a latch that catches a half-inch too late. She grew up in Fresno and has worked on homes from Sunnyside to Fig Garden, so she knows how the valley’s heat, dust, and occasional hard rain beat on a window over the years. Sofia is our lead on jobs where the homeowner has strong opinions about interior trim, and she’s earned a reputation for cutting casing joints so tight you can’t slide a business card through them. She brings her own knee pads, never assumes a room is empty before knocking, and quietly resets any furniture she moved on the way back out. Her husband says she critiques the windows at every restaurant they visit, which is probably true.
Daniel V., Service Coordinator
Daniel is the voice on the phone most hours, and he’s the reason you won’t sit through a phone tree when you call (559) 272-9650. He schedules every estimate, tracks every permit, and keeps the daily routes sane so our crews aren’t racing across Fresno traffic and rushing your install. Before joining Lightwell, Daniel worked in construction supply and logistics, which means he can tell you whether a specific PGT or Therma-Tru unit is actually in stock instead of guessing. He’s the one who confirms the crew’s arrival window the afternoon before, asks about the gate code and the family’s quiet hours, and makes a note if there’s a dog in the yard. Daniel keeps a spreadsheet of every job’s scope, price sheet, and photo log, so when you call with a question three months later, the answer is a minute away, not a mystery. He’s also our resident wood-trim nerd and will happily explain the difference between a brickmold and a flat casing until you tell him to stop.
One Standard, Every Job
Lightwell Windows Fresno is an independently owned and operated Cedarwell location, which means we’re held to a standard that was written down long before any of us put on the shirt. The Cedarwell Care Promise has been part of the network since 2010, and we don’t treat it like a poster on the office wall. Shoe covers go on at every door, drop cloths go down before the ladder does, and a photo of the clean-up gets taken before the crew leaves, every single day. Our techs follow the C.A.R.E. values by name and letter: Clean up like it is our own home, Ask before we move or touch anything, Respect the family’s time and quiet hours, and Explain the price before the work. The 365-Day Done Right Promise sits on top of all of it. If the finished work isn’t right, Lightwell makes it right, no debate, no countdown. That’s the deal, and it’s stamped on every job, not just the easy ones.
What anchors all of it is the name. A light well is an architectural feature that brings daylight deep into a building, and that’s what a well-installed window should do for your home. Our job is to make that happen without leaving a mess, without surprising you on the invoice, and without making you wonder who’s walking through your front door. If you’re planning a window replacement or door install in Fresno, call us at (559) 272-9650. You’ll get a real person, and that person will almost certainly be Daniel asking about your gate code, your pets, and whether the kids nap at noon or one.
